Advent Calendar Day 16

December 16th...
Snowshoeing and Mint Chocolate
The plan for tonight was to take an evening snowshoe walk up Millcreek Canyon, which is close to our home; however, this was planned last month when the NVO hoped we would have the snow that we had last year at this time.
No such luck. :-(
So this photo is from last February when we hiked to a peak we call "Proposal Point" (it's "official" name is "The New York Tunnel").
This is where the NVO proposed on Ground Hog's Day several years ago.
We visit often.

In any case, the NVO slipped these little tidbits into my advent calendar bag. They were to be enjoyed on our snowshoe walk to represent the many times we have enjoyed mint hot chocolate while snowshoeing.

So tonight we will nibble on "Godiva Dark Chocolate Mint Pearls" and reminisce about our past snowshoeing adventures. :-)

Happy Friday Everyone!!!

  1. Sorry you didn't get to go snowshoeing, but those little mint pearls sure would help with the disappoitment. ;) Best wishes, Tammy

  2. Chocolate makes everything better. Great snowshoe photo!

After one freak early November snowstorm, we've been snowless until last night when we got just a dusting. Very odd December weather. Hope you get to snowshoe soon.
