Advent Calender Day 22

December 22nd...
Building a fort and decorating it with our homemade Christmas decorations

Most of the activities the NVO planned for the month, were made to eventually decorate a fort, just like when we were kids!

This was my favorite activity so far!

The evening began with making Bellini's and paper chains:
Then we built the fort and decorated it:
A camping air mattress was the base:
Snow softly fell on its roof.
Isn't it romantic?

Then we enjoyed geitost on Norsk Julekake with the Bellini's inside the fort:
As you can see, we got dressed up for the occasion. :-)
We will lift the entry-way and then watch the "Polar Express".

We hope you are having a fun holiday season, as well!

  1. Unbelievable. You two have more fun than kids. I hope you never grow up (you can grow old, just not up) and I hope you always post your fun activities. Have a great night in the tent!

  5. I'm glad I'm not the only grownup who loves tents and forts! Yours has all the modern conveniences. Now I'm off to look up "geitost". ("Julekake" I can figure out.)
