Purple Knit Bunad

Mor is in the USA visiting from Norway
This is the beautiful knitting project she is working on;
it takes my breath away. :-)
Bummer of all bummers, the knitting gene was not handed down to me,
but I am hopes that this is a recessive gene and will surface one day. :-)

See this post for more knitting.
And this post for even more knitting vs crocheting including a lesson in Norwegian.

Have a wonderful day!

  1. You might be surprised what genes are lurking ... pick up some needles and give it a try! (Knitting I mean.)

    That is a GORGEOUS project. I really like the zig-zag trim (though I'm sure there's a much nicer Norwegian word for it). :)

    Have a wonderful visit with your Mors.

    1. Oh gosh this project really intimidates me to pick up needles - it's looks very difficult. I have often thought about your cute little mitten ornaments as a beginning project...but it will probably have to wait until after retirement. :-)

      Your comments always make me smile Mrs. M!
