Here comes the Snow Bride

Yesterday, we received
our first significant
snowstorm of the season
so a couple of big kids built a couple of
offbeat snow things....
Cucumber eyes,  a carrot nose and a twig mouth.
Then frozen mums, zinnias and roses from the garden,
accessorize the bride-to-be.

Here's the NVO with our snow bride...
Ya' know you can have more than one bride in Utah, haha. ;-)

and then we made this weird thing:
the feet are two frozen left behind cucumbers from the garden.
I don't know what it is?
1/2 man, 1/2 bear, 1/2 pig???
What do you think?
We had fun and I wish a
fun day for you, too!!!

    1. I wish you snow soon. :-) We did not get a storm like this last year and I think we may have another coming in a couple of weeks. I imagine it's fun to play in the snow with the children.

  3. Lucky you! We're hoping for a good snowy winter here but so far have only seen a few flakes (apart from the two that live permanently in the house). :)

I like the bride's decorations very much.

    1. Wishing you a storm with more than two flakes soon, but I guess that will put a damper on the bike rides. I think our biking season is officially over, although we did not get out there this year....there's always next year, though.

    1. Sounds like the same as in Norway. Perhaps it left here and is on its way there. :-)

Klem.

    1. Yes it's easy to compete with the icy bride! I wonder if she has a warm heart under all that snow. Wishing you a beautiful snow storm soon!

  8. The bride looks fantastic! The other one looks more like a bear to me.
