  1. Very nice, I am from Lafayette, LA and I grew up on crawfish. Fifteen years ago, we moved to Ohio. Oh, how I miss the southern way of life. Enjoy, Kathy

  2. Oui oui - j'adore les beignets! Et aussi des écrevisses. Je ne savais jamais que les beignets etaient paleo.... ;)

(Feel like I missed a subjunctive there ... but I hope you enjoyed every luscious crumb!)

    1. Yeah, I don't know about Paleo beignets...might not be so good. These had about an inch of powdered sugar on them; couldn't breath out, couldn't breath in.

We did enjoy every last crumb...back home and back to a life without beignets for a while. ;-)

    1. Aw, yes...the muffaletta...there's nothing like the muffaletta. We did not make it to The Commander's Palace (at least I don't think so) but we did make it to the Palace Cafe. :-)
