Mind Wanderings

I'm still studying like a mad woman,
but I take a little break and my mind wanders to three things....

1) CROCHET
(Pillow from this post, rose blanket from this post, and bobble zigzag blanket from this post.)

2) QUAIL
(There were six, but by the time I retrieved the camera....)

3) FLOWERS
the last of the flowers from our garden for a friend's birthday.
(Recognize the bachelors buttons from this post?)

I hope all is well with each and everyone one of you!

  1. Hi Astri, I'm afraid my mind would be wandering all the time and yes it would be to crochet too, that's why I find it so difficult to study these days lack of concentration. The quail are beautiful and so are your flowers it's amazing that they have lasted this long. Take care xxx

  6. Hi Astri. My mind wanders constantly. When I'm crocheting, I'm thinking about other crochet stuff and then it switches to the campground, then to babies, then to grocery shopping, then to thinking about buying new flannel shirts, and so on and so on. All of that while I'm still crocheting and watching TV at the same time. It's crazy sometimes.

Good luck with your studies. :)

  8. I know how you feel. I'm actually glad I didn't know how to crochet when I was in school...I would never have graduated. Those rose squares are gorgeous!

  9. Everyone needs to take a little break. I haven't crocheted much at all lately. So much I want to do. Just don't have time for it all. Gorgeous flowers! I took a bunch of bird photos today. We had a cloudy day and they were flitting all about happy as could be. Have a great weekend. Tammy

  18. The quail are so sweet ... and garden bouquets are the best! I love orange and blue-violet together.

Hope your studies are going well - I must have missed a post or two because this is the first I've heard of them! :)

  19. I somehow missed your last posts completely, but it's nice to see everything is okay with you. The whole mind-wandering thing is something which happens to me all the time. I like to divide my time into 30-45 minutes of grading and 15 minutes of relaxing. This is the best studyjng method according to my old neuroscience teacher. Good luck and hang in there!

  20. All the best with your studies!! :)
My mind keeps on wandering always. I guess women do too much of parallel processing ...that's the problem :) or ...quality of us, I must say ;)
