Week Ending 3 of CANDO 2014: Lemon Water and an Egg

I CAN basically fast for a day.
I knew this last week had not been all that great on the plan
so whether it was a good idea or not I fasted yesterday.
 I drank decaf and lots of lemon water.
I did eat one hard boiled egg and three sugar free Werther's candies.
It was not difficult; I kept myself occupied with house and crochet projects. :-)
It CAN be OK as long as I don't go hog-wild today.
I started today with egg whites fried in coconut oil and some roasted green chilies.
Yum!

I CAN be consistent this week with Magnesium, as last week was hit and miss.
(Everything last week was hit and miss.)
I'm still taking B-12.

So here's this morning result.
138.4, a .4 lb loss.
A little short of my goal so far, but still moving down.
I'm 4.4 lbs away from what I weighed when we got married 
and 18.4 lbs from my goal.
That's obtainable!

It's been reported that most of my CANDO homies are walking, which warms my heart to no end.
I've never heard anything bad about walking.
You know, you never hear anyone say "Oh, it's an old walking injury".

  1. Well one you are all doing great, I am trying to loose about 10 pounds but I'm afraid I'm not as motivated as you.just cutting out the chocolate and cakes is hard enough and yes I do like walking but I'm ever so lazy and...it's cold out there. :)

  2. I'm impressed with your fasting - that's one thing I do not do.

    I don't now why but this last week I went on tilt and just ate a bunch of stuff that I don't usually eat. :-)

  7. Good job on the fasting! It's supposed to be really good for you too.

    For some reason I am thinking of Romy and Michele's High School Reunion right now. This scene in particular:

    Michele: Did you lose weight?
    Romy: Actually, I have been trying this new fat free diet I invented. All I've had to eat for the past six days are gummy bears, jelly beans, and candy corns.
    Michele: God, I wish I had your discipline.
