"La Vie" Winner

Congratulations to Mum and Sandra,
for reading my mind!

The correct answer to the mind-reading question in the previous post was:

"When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong,
just remember in the winter
far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed that with the sun's love
in the spring becomes the rose."

Amanda McBroom, The Rose
Made famous by Bette Midler

These lovely lucky ladies are now the owners of the
"La Vie en Rose Afghan Pattern":
Which can be found in my Etsy shop here. :-)

Many of you guessed "The Rose" or Bette Midler", and those were good answers;
however, there was a key hint in my post:

1) It's eight lines of lyrics from a song.

Thank you for playing and all your wonderful, wonderful comments!

I would also like to thank the anonymous person who posted this afghan on Facebook.
I received thousands of views and a few sales from your post.
Blogger let's me know that the views are coming from Facebook,
but not which Facebook account.
If you would like to be "known" please let me know, either with a comment
or an email to astri.bowlin@gmail.com.
I would also like to follow your Facebook page. :-)
