Macaroon Blossom Afghan | Crochet Pattern | Border Progress

The border/edging/frame for the
"Macaroon Blossom Afghan"
has been designed and implemented:
I wanted something that looked like flower buds and leaves.

The goal was to make sure that as much of the leftover yarn as possible was used.
In order to accomplish this the leftover yarn was divided into two piles:
1) leaf colors and 2) bud colors
then each color was used for its respective purpose until it ran out and then the next color.
No counting out buds and leaves or weighing, measuring, and calculating the yarn amounts.
 Easy, fun, and practical!

Now, back to the writing, photographing, and videotaping of the pattern, to publish next month!

As always, wishing you lots of

Warmly,

Astri
