Roses from Kris

Roses arrived in the mail from my sweet blogging friend Kris.

Kris made these pretty roses; she is a very kind friend with a heart of gold!
Be sure to visit her blog and see how much fun she has with her garden and crafts.

Right now they are embellishing my kitchen corner curtains.
The walls are painted yellow and the accents are all red so the colors are perfect.
Instead of tucking these away in my vanity drawer I will store them here until...
I wear them:
In fact, I wore the red one to work yesterday.

Or display them:
The yellow rose will embellish Blossom, the scooter.
Blossom is in the shop getting a tune-up so no photos with her new embellishment,
but she will come home to a gift. :-)

But in between wearing and scootering they will add a special touch to my kitchen
and I will think of my friend every day when I see them.
Thank you Kris!

(I apologize for the accidental deletion of the previous post,
I got mixed up. Mostly sorry that I lost Debi's sweet comment. )

    1. Thanks Kris. I did weird things with posts today when trying to change things a bit. Trying to do too many things at once...I need to "Simplify!"

  5. O Astri, they are beautiful! Are they made of felt or fabric?
They look fantastic as curtain holder!

    1. They are fabric, but a non-fraying fabric - kind of stretchy.

      Thanks for the comment Barbara!
