6 Days Before Valentine's Day...

My True Love Gave To Me:

6 Gingham Hearts on 6 Mitered Potholders

Mitered dishcloth pattern found here
but working in both loops instead of back or front loops only.
Then they were doubled up and joined with a sc all the way around.
Then gingham was cut in heart shapes and
sewn on with the trusty ol' zig-zag setting on the sewing machine.
Then rick-rack placed, cut, pinned and hand sewn on:
(Rick-rack could be machine sewn but I had already joined the two sides so I sewed them by hand.)
 For the final product:

Stay tuned, as there will be 5 of something tomorrow!

  1. I love the pastel colours. do you have their names? I like the green that I would call mint green. Are they the Tilda yarns?
Your work is lovely! I'm looking forward to seeing the next posting! Have a gorgeous and creative weekend. I'm crocheting hearts by the dozen and adoring it too!

    1. Thank you Sandra! The yarn is a 100% cotton yarn by Hobby Lobby - it's called "I love this cotton". The green is called pistachio. Cab't wait to see your hearts. :-)
