Lawn and Garden Shower - Part 2: Easy Bunting How-To

Brandon and Monique are getting married in August. :-)
Brandon is offspring #3 of our 6 children.

Sunday, June 22 we had a shower for the lovely Monique.
I will post a series of posts about the shower.

Today's post is about the:
BUNTING
I made a super easy bunting decoration from 12 x 12 scrapbook pages
that read:

MONIQUE (heart) BRANDON

and here's how it was done:
Fold paper in half,

then half again,

and one more time.

Cut diagonally from this corner of two closed folds;
can you see it better here?

You'll get two connected triangles and two not-connected triangles from each sheet.
You can tape the not connected ones together if you choose.
They should look like this.
Make a heart, too.

With the Handy-Dandy Cricket I made the letters of each name;
bride and groom to-be.
Place one letter on each "triangle"

With ribbon of choice, glue ribbon between two sheets on the fold.

Space each letter about an inch apart.
(I suppose I could have ironed out the creases,
but they were not so apparent in real life. ;-) )
I did not get a good photo of the finished bunting due to the light.
There was a lot of curly ribbon on each side with coral colored roses hanging from the ribbon at different lengths.
It was super easy and a lot of fun to make!

The kiddos were delighted. :-)
