❤️Week 11 of 46 | This Week's Featured Pattern is the Tea Towel Topper!🀍

Week 10 of our Weekly Crochet Celebration is here, and this one is guaranteed to make you smile – the Mitered Dishcloth or Pot Holder with Polka Dots Pattern! 🀍❤️

Red and white polka dots are cheerful, timeless, and simply irresistible. Pair them with gingham or floral kitchenware, or let them shine on their own for a bold, happy pop of colour.

The pattern starts with the classic Mitered Dishcloth, worked in red cotton yarn, then topped with sweet white crochet dots. Add as few or as many as you like – this one is all about playfulness and personalisation.

Practical as well as pretty, these cloths include a loop to hang them up after use – keeping them clean, dry, and fresh. You can also make two and crochet them together to create a sturdy potholder.

It’s a fun stash-buster project too – perfect for using up those little bits of cotton yarn in your collection.

✨ This week only, grab the Mitered Dishcloth or Pot Holder with Polka Dots Pattern for 20% off on Etsy HERE. Offer ends Thursday midnight (UK time)!

Happy Crocheting!!

πŸ’šSide 2 | A Little More Progress!πŸ’™

 A Little More Progress 🌸

It’s been a bit of a slower update this time! I’ve only managed to add a few more rounds to the second panel of my cushion cover. That’s because I’ve been working on something else exciting in the background (I can’t wait to share that with you soon! ✨).

But even with just a little extra progress, I’m falling more and more in love with the colour balance on this side. For this piece, I’m using Yarnsmiths Cotton DK from Wool Warehouse in the following shades:

πŸ’— Fondant Pink
🌸 Candyfloss Pink
πŸ’š Olive Green
πŸ’™ Denim Blue
πŸ’› Lemon Yellow

The palette feels cheerful, bright, and so full of spring 🌼. I especially love how the pinks shine more on this side, giving it a softer and lighter feel compared to the Denim Blue–framed first panel.

I also want to give a quick mention to some lovely small businesses that help make my crochet photos extra special:
🧢 My wooden yarn holders are from Laurette’s Crafts UK - perfect for keeping little samples tidy and photogenic.
✨ My custom logo display is from Add Your Own Touch on Etsy - such a sweet personal detail to include in each photo.

Hopefully I’ll have a bigger burst of progress to share next time, but for now, I’m just enjoying watching this bloom at its own pace πŸŒΈπŸ’›πŸŒΏπŸ’™

Happy Crocheting!

🧼Week 9 of 46 | This Week's Featured Pattern is the Mitered Blossom Dish/Wash Cloth! 🌸

We’re continuing the Weekly Celebration with something fun, fresh, and oh-so-practical – the Mitered Blossom Dish/Wash Cloth Pattern! ✨

These little beauties are such a joy to make, keep, and gift. The pattern is packed full of helpful details: dozens of step-by-step photos, a shortened version for confident makers, and four video links to guide you every step of the way.

One of the best features? The clever built-in handle. After use, simply rinse and wring out your cloth, then hang it from a hook or faucet to dry. This not only keeps them smelling fresh but also helps resist germs – perfect for busy kitchens.

Crocheted in Scheepjes Catona yarn, these cloths stay vibrant and hold their colour beautifully. Yarn packs are available now at Wool Warehouse, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you could even try the full Scheepjes Catona Colour Pack to make a rainbow of cloths, find that HERE.

Whether you coordinate them to match a friend’s kitchen or pair them with a lovely soap for gifting, the Mitered Blossom Dish/Wash Cloths are a guaranteed hit. πŸ’
