  2. The leaves really make those lovely roses stand out. I'm off to do mine, who cares about the housework anyway. :)

  4. Such lovely colors you have choosen to make this pillow. They look like you could just smell them through your blog. Yes, I too have only worked 2 chains at the corners. It seems to make a closer crocheted fit :'} Your doing a simplely beautiful job with your tuts & videos.

  5. Great tutorial! Thanks! My daughter has already finished adding leaves to all 8 of her squares. I've done 14 so far. My daughter is begging for a sneak peek at next week's tutorial. She'll never be able to wait! Are you planning on having us join as you go? Or single crochet the squares together. Sorry, we're just so eager. I'm already planning ahead for the next step. We're having so much fun! Thanks again.

p.s. My daughter was tickled to have her roses pictured on your blog! That made her day!

    1. Love the photos from you and your daughter!

You can join as you go if you would like; however, I usually single crochet all together, but this time I joined with 3 ch and a sc. One side in white...one side in pistachio.

      Your enthusiasm is infectious!

    1. Hi Sonya,

It could be a softer yarn, perhaps. Are you working on the underside of the the 2nd round of the rose? The video should help. Could you send me a photo of the rose?
