Super Hero Colored Blanket Done!

Finally finished:
An afghan for our grandson that loves super heroes!
It's the Puffy NOLA Sunset Afghan in Super Hero Colors!
Pattern found here.
And the pattern looks like this:

I used Stylekraft Special DK yarn on this one too.
A single strand instead of doubling up the yarn as shown in the pattern.
Our Grandson lives in California and there was no need for a heavier blanket. ;-)
(I'm not sure a heavy blanket is needed in NOLA, either - at least not now!)
Which super hero colors do you see?

A row of bobbles was added to the black border too.

In hopes all is well with all of you!

12.5 Tons of Rocks

Makes for a Dry Creek Bed...
and a sore back. ;-)

And this is how it went down:

Large rocks were brought in for the outside edges of the creek.

Placed by hand...one by one.
The medium were placed next to the large.
A load of small rocks to fill in the middle.
(Fortunately these where wheelbarrowed in.)

Here are some before and after photos of the process:

 Metal Fish Art.
Trout!
There are three, but only one is pictured.
It's sort of a "Where's Waldo" photo.

And a few flowers, of course.
It's late in the year to be planting annuals,
but we'll see how it goes for the next couple of months. :-)

We are in hopes that the project will reduce the 3 W's....

Ombre Mitered Dishcloth

Yes, more mitered dishcloths:

This time some cotton stash-busting resulted in this:
 Very simple.
Very fast.
 Pattern can be purchased here.
But work in both loops.

Handy loop to hang off faucet.

Makes a nice gift with an aloe vera plant. :-)
 Or just by themselves:

Happy Crocheting!
Happy Gift Giving!
