Looking for a cosy project that works up beautifully in any colour combination? The Chevron Infinity Scarf is a stylish classic with a modern twist. It’s bold, warm, and perfect for gift-giving (or keeping all for yourself ๐).
-
Double knitting or aran yarn in your favourite colours (Pics above I used the lovely Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze Prints).
-
A crochet hook suited to your yarn
-
Scissors and a yarn needle
๐ Adding Colour Changes
Want stripes or contrast? At the end of a row, before finishing your last hdc, pull your new colour through all three loops on the hook. Ch 1, turn, and continue with your new shade.
๐จ Colour Options
The beauty of this scarf is how versatile it is — the colour options are endless! Take a look at these samples I’ve made:
๐ Lovely autumnal tones in greens, creams, and oranges
๐ Halloween-inspired neon green, purple, and black
⚫ Black, blue, grey, and tan for a classic look
๐ Navy, olive, gold, and cream for an earthy palette
๐ญ “Candy Crush” with pretty pinks, creams, and blues
Each one has its own charm, so don’t be afraid to mix and match your stash to create something unique!

✨ Finishing Off
When your scarf reaches the length you prefer (I like one that wraps around twice):
-
Slip stitch the two ends together.
-
For a seamless look, finish with the same colour you started.
-
Or, twist the scarf before joining for a rippled infinity effect!
And that’s it! Your cosy, chevron-striped infinity scarf is ready to wear. A quick, satisfying make that looks gorgeous in every colourway.
