✨ Free Crochet Pattern | Chevron Infinity Scarf ✨

Looking for a cosy project that works up beautifully in any colour combination? The Chevron Infinity Scarf is a stylish classic with a modern twist. It’s bold, warm, and perfect for gift-giving (or keeping all for yourself ๐Ÿ˜‰).

๐Ÿงถ What You’ll Need

  • Double knitting or aran yarn in your favourite colours (Pics above I used the lovely Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze Prints).

  • A crochet hook suited to your yarn

  • Scissors and a yarn needle

๐ŸŒˆ Adding Colour Changes

Want stripes or contrast? At the end of a row, before finishing your last hdc, pull your new colour through all three loops on the hook. Ch 1, turn, and continue with your new shade.

๐ŸŽจ Colour Options

The beauty of this scarf is how versatile it is — the colour options are endless! Take a look at these samples I’ve made:

๐Ÿ‚ Lovely autumnal tones in greens, creams, and oranges

๐ŸŽƒ Halloween-inspired neon green, purple, and black

⚫ Black, blue, grey, and tan for a classic look

๐ŸŒŠ Navy, olive, gold, and cream for an earthy palette

๐Ÿญ “Candy Crush” with pretty pinks, creams, and blues

Each one has its own charm, so don’t be afraid to mix and match your stash to create something unique!

HERE'S A COLOR CHANGE:

At the end of the row, before the last hdc is complete,

slip new color through all three loops on hook.

 ch 1, turn

Here's a review of row 2 with the new color:

 hdc in first st

skip 1 st and hdc in the next 10 sts

3 hdc in next st

hdc in the next 10 sts, skip 2 sts, etc. as above

✨ Finishing Off

When your scarf reaches the length you prefer (I like one that wraps around twice):

  • Slip stitch the two ends together.

  • For a seamless look, finish with the same colour you started.

  • Or, twist the scarf before joining for a rippled infinity effect!

And that’s it! Your cosy, chevron-striped infinity scarf is ready to wear. A quick, satisfying make that looks gorgeous in every colourway.
