 Starting the Other Side 🌸

With one side of my cushion cover blooming beautifully in its Denim Blue frame, it’s now time to start the other side — and I’m so excited to mix things up a little! 💕

For this panel, I’m using the exact same yarn shades from Yarnsmiths Cotton DK — Fondant Pink, Candyfloss Pink, Olive Green, Denim Blue, and Lemon Yellow — but in a new arrangement. Instead of being framed mostly with Denim Blue 💙, this side will feature more pinks 🌸💗, giving it a lighter, brighter, and slightly different personality.

I love that both sides will be related, yet unique — like two siblings in the same family of colours 🌼🌿. It’s going to make the finished cushion extra special, with each side telling its own little story.

And speaking of special touches… you might spot a new addition in my photos! 🧶✨

I recently ordered the sweetest custom logo name prop from Add Your Own Touch on Etsy, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It feels like the perfect way to showcase my work with a personal touch 💕.

Next step: building up this new panel, round by round, until both sides are ready to come together into one joyful, handmade cushion. I can’t wait to share more progress soon! 🌸💛💙
