Red, White and Blue Crochet

Happy Independence Day USA!

 I made you a gift:
I will wash your fruit dishes with it
after we are done partaking in the patriotic celebration fruit.

Oh, you would like to make one by tomorrow, too?

Here's how you do it.

Crochet a blue mitered dishcloth from the
pattern that can be purchased here.
This yarn is a 100% cotton worsted weight.
The hook is a "H" or 5 mm hook.
Work in both loops just like a regular sc.
This will create a flat surface for your star.

With a red cotton worsted weight yarn,
crochet along edge alternating 1 sc and 1 ch.
sc along the loop.
Then add a picot edge.
Use any edge pattern or
a "how to make" a picot edge is included in the pattern that
can be purchased here.
Make a white cotton star.
This star pattern found can be found at the According to Matt Blog.
Click here for the pattern.
Then sew it on your dishcloth.

 And celebrate with a
patriotic dishcloth and fruit.
Mmmmmm...us American Norwegians love berries!

Have a Happy 4th of July!!!
Wherever in the world you may be!
Oh and cherries are on their way...
another patriotic fruit to be celebrated with a dishcloth.
