Puff Flower Project #1

An Autumn/Winter Scarf in Spring Colors

Using the "puff flowers" from the previous post:
Lots of gratitude goes out to the providers
of the patterns and tutorials:
1) Puff Flower from Tara at the "Easy Makes Me Happy" blog.
2) Square is modified from the Puff Flower Hexagon at the "Speckless" blog. I'm hoping you may be able to look at the photo and figure out the modification into a square. :-)
3) Border is Pattern #132 from Eddie Eckman's "Around the Corner Crochet Borders" book. It's a puff stitch and one chain in alternating stitches. Then a row of single crochet to finish off.
Project #2 has been started and will be here soon.

  1. This would make an adorable belt with smaller gauge yarns. It's an adorable scarf just the way it is!

  2. I love this! The pattern, the colors, everything -- and it looks super soft, too!

  3. The scarf is gorgeous. Those puff flowers are very pretty. Have added them to my to do list.

  4. I enjoy watching my wife use her talents and produce such beautiful items!!!

  5. Voilà une écharpe bien jolie, j'envie l'heureux élu qui la portera :) Et j'ai hâte de voir le prochain projet !!

  6. Thanks for dropping by. My how the days are flying of late. I love your puff flowers. Of course, now I am singing, Puff the Magic Dragon, Lived by the sea ... it was my brother's favorite song oh so many years ago. :) I haven't tried this puff pattern yet. Your scarf turned out beautifully. And those Norwegian cookies. Yummo! Hope you are having a great day. Tammy

  7. Very, very lovely! Stitches are so interesting and colors are just right.
