Le tournesol et le Beignet de Domy

As per the inquiry from my French blogging friend, Domy, in the previous post,
the mysterious sunflower has bloomed,
and to celebrate this sunny flower, a French/American breakfast,
in honor of my sweet friend.

French Beignet
(A kind gift from a colleague at the NVO's place of employment.)
American Maple Bacon

Voilà!!!

Voici à mon ami blogs français!

    1. Owwww, yes I think you might be right. That did not occur to me, I thought it was the wind, but we don;t get a lot of wind back there.

  4. I love beignets. And bacon. (Especially with maple syrup on both.) Did you by any chance drink café français with that? :)

    Gorgeous tournesol!

    1. Is café français, a French pressed coffee? If so, no, darn it...just my 1/4 caf, since too much caf has been messing with my psyche. ;-)

  5. Beignets from Cafe du Monde. I remember them well from my time spent working in downtown New Orleans. All the sunflowers here dried up months ago. Yours is bright and beautiful. Have a great week. Tammy PS the Picasa cleanup is a pain with the duplicates taking up unnecessary space -- but if you delete the wrong one, then you have a black box on your blog where a photo should be. I didn't know that the first time I tried to clear space ... even though I am aware this time around, it still takes lots of time to do it properly. Hope its going smoothly for you. Best wishes,

    1. You worked in downtown New Orleans...you lucky duck! You have been to so many wonderful places.

Seems like Picasa has converted all my photos on my hard drive, Arghhhh! Probably something I unknowingly told it to do. I've got the NVO on the task though; he'll fix it, he fixes everything. :-)

Good luck with yours and hope it's not too time consuming.
