Week Ending 10 of CANDO 2014: Sunday

I CAN change weigh-in day to Sunday.
Kiddos come for dinner late on Sunday nights; hence,
Monday becomes discouraging for weigh-in.
Is everyone good with that?

I'm getting that overwhelmed feeling again.
Struggling a little with finding balance.
Blogging has taken a back seat for a bit.
I've read all your comments and they are so heart warming.
Thank you for sticking with me.

But all in all it was a pretty good week on the health and fitness front
except for a set-back with some back pain
and then there were those chocolate dipped fortune cookies and caramel corn...

So here it is:
Down .6
(this was yesterday's weight.)
Did not weigh in today.
I'm 14.6 lbs from my goal and half way there.
That's exciting. :-)

My exercise routine suffered due to the back issue.
Last week looked like this:

M: 15 minute EXTREME weight work-out - thighs.
M: Hurt back while tying shoe for heavens sake!
(I'm thinking stronger abs and better form during weight lifting may help this reoccurring problem.)
TH: 60 minute walk with Little Bug.
(Stair sprint at end.)
SU: 60 minute walk with the NVO.

Here are today's charts:

I report the following:

If you would like a copy of this Excel spreadsheet to customize to your own plan,
I would be happy to send it to you.
Just drop me an email at requesting it.

 CANDO homies report the following:
Have a good CANDO week and remember that the chart that includes
everyone is posted on the CANDO 2014 page here.

See you next time on Sunday next week!

  1. Astri, I simply love your attitude! sorry about the back pain. I hope it leaves you soon!

  2. You are doing great Astri but do be careful, it's so easy to put your back out and yes you can strengthen your back muscles with exercise but please be sure that you are dong the correct ones or you could make it worse. (ok I'll shut up now haha) xx

  3. Astri, you are doing great - I agree with the Sunday weigh in - good thought.

Tony tweaked his back last week too. He had to take it easy for a few days.

We're headed off for the lake for a few days. This will be interesting to see how well I keep up with the running outside as opposed to my treadmill....

  4. Hey, what great success your having. Congratulation.. Hugs judy

  5. Hope the back is better. I put mine out for a week just twisting to get out the vacuum cleaner. Worst pain ever. Or course, now I have a heel spur, and that has hindered my walking. Ugh! Wishing you all the best, Tammy
