The Hubby Knows Jambalaya

The NVO cooks a specialty:
(Pictured with a "Hurricane", another Louisiana specialty.).
Each time he uses a different recipe.
Each time it turns out wonderful.
This time he used Donald Link's recipe from this book:
The book was a birthday gift from offspring #5 (Precious),
she even hooked the NVO up with a signed copy!
I love Cajun Food. :-)

  2. Je n'en ai jamais mangé mais j'adore toutes les recettes épicées et savoureuses, les saveurs des pays étrangers, Maroc, Indonésie, Japon, mais aussi Espagne, Italie, les desserts anglais, les cuisines des îles comme La Réunion, etc.
    J'aimerais tant que mon mari cuisine de temps en temps. Quelle chance que NVO le fasse !!!

    I haven't had much Cajun food, but I do like jambalaya. And beignets - do they count?

    It's so nice to have a husband who cooks "de temps en temps" ... "souvent" might be even nicer! As long as he cleans up after himself....

  5. Hello Astri, just catching up now I am back, I have been reading, just not commenting. We don't get Cajun food over here in England, so no, I don't eat much, but I would love to eat the NVO's dinner as it looks delicious and I really like food like this. Loved the crochet roses that you are working on! xx
